Czech relationship to Slavism and Bulgarians at the end of the 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th century : A case study of Jan Václav Mrkvička

The bachelor thesis will deal with the perception of the Czech society of Slavism at the end of 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. It will mainly notice the relations of the Czechs to the Bulgarians after the liberation of Bulgaria in the year 1878 till the end of the nineteen-thirties. The substantial part of the bachelor thesis will be description and characterization of the mission of Jan Václav Mrkvička in Bulgaria and the benefits of his work on the development of the local fine arts.
